Broken…# Kashmir

A broken house, a broken door
A broken man broken on his knees
A broken heart, a broken hope
Broken tears in the broken eyes
Broken stories with broken words

Kashmir! A beautiful broken word
Broken people and their broken voices
Broken dreams with broken wings
Broken songs with broken melody
Broken pans and broken window
Broken beats, broken hearts
Broken days, broken nights
Broken dawn, broken dusk
Broken voices, broken choices
Broken thoughts, broken feeling
Broken peace, broken paradise

Broken we stand, broken we are
Broken we stand, broken before our Lord
Broken inside with broken prayers
Broken we live in broken Kashmir

Tyrannical Wall…#Kashmir

O tyrants!
We will rise
above the size
of your tyrannical wall
to see your great fall

You owe what you can never repay
Your suppression tore the pages of happiness
We dreamt of listening the nightingale in the exquisite evening
But we heard only the cries from the ailing souls
The rivers no more feel the same
Our ears have left to listen to their melody
The apples are plucked by heavy hearts
Which feel the separation like a fish without sea

Everything of us can die, but not the hope
We have to and we will stand
Your days are like the drying river
Whose bottom will crack under the scorching sun
Our hopes are its rays that will burn your pride

Where is the Blooded paradise, Kashmir?

Let my eyes flow with the rivers of Kashmir
I pray to be rested in the grave of her soil
The martyrs whose faces I never saw, and they left
Let me see my soul drenched in their blood

Let me see myself burning with the leaves in the autumn
Let me live in the silence of snow near the window
Let me cry in remembering our pain in front Of Allah
Let me pray for the prosperity of the forgotten valley

We are living in the horror behind the veil of beauty
The paths leading to the graveyards are more settled than others
A hope, one day we will win over the war but don’t know at what cost?
My home is easy to find, just inquire “where is the blooded paradise, Kashmir?”

Imprisioned …# Kashmir

Even if I choose to remain quiet
My emotions ignites the voice within
I can’t help my hands to rest
They want to write the plight of my soul
Now, I don’t introduce my name to the people
I simply say them from where I belong
And I am alive by the grace of God

My conscious have become insomniac
It keeps rattling with the stories of my valley
I know, Kashmir is burning
I keep searching ashes in my dreams
But I find soil drenched in tears
My soul curses these tyrants and their tyranny
I break when I imagine a mother
Who tells her son to wake up from the sleep of death
she knows, tomorrow there would no sun for her son
Because these tyrants have slaughtered him to death

Stories of Autumn have faded deep in winter
Now we see seasons changing in a day
Either bloody or dry
Imprisioned inside the bricks of our own
Afraid to look out of the window
Because weak glass pans can’t save you
Only God can listen
To the imprisioned hearts inside imprisioned homes

A HOPE… #Kashmir

A hope
that beautiful days await
At every evening, I would be in the garden
looking at the setting sun
listening to the call for prayer
waiting to bow down with the righteous ones

the war would be over
violence would end
no more homes would be raised down
no more young blood would flow
freedom would be ours
harmony would prevail
paper boats from little hands
would sail without fear
no more tears
no more screams
no more pain

A mother would not be afraid
for her son
not to return back
days would be peaceful
nights soulful
coffins would remain resting

sounds of laughter
feeling of togetherness
warmth of love
would return
rule of law
without flaw
would hold

smiles on lips would be glowing
winds would be blowing
Singing the freedom songs of martyrs
paradise would return
to the long-forgotten valley
with the mercy of Allah

they can kill me
but not my hope

Not in Kashmir

The flames in me will never die
They will keep growing with every cry
Our lives a collection of anguished tales
How we keep walking over the nails
Every season has its own colour
But here, we only have red
Our doors doesn’t change the walls
Either sides of it has a prison
In our own land we are hunted down for treason
That too by those who are foreigners
Every day tyrants wash their hands with our blood
Even apples are now shy to manifest their redness
How many graves will cover the land?
How many names will be remembered with the tears?
The world has made us like a unaddressed entity
Whose worth seen not equivalent even to some pennies
The nozzles of the weapon hurt our ego every single moment
As if we are not humans living here
O, the free ones out there
Be grateful to God
That you are not the ones like in my valley
Where the eyes die everday
Be grateful, you are not in Kashmir

Justice has Died… #Kashmir

Paroxymal are the moments I live
Since my homeland is gruesomely caged
I weep alone in this foreign land
With no one around to hold my hand

I see people spurning the humanity
Walls of captilism has blinded their councious
They do know and they do ignore
They just want to fill their bellies with more
What goes around comes around
The world is a boomerang, don’t forget
The fire in our land will soon chase you
Today it is my home, tomorrow it may be yours
Our houses were meant for us to live
But never thought we will be caged in them
As the picture has become blur with the pain
I still wonder, does our blood have something for them to gain
The world lives and the siege continues
The world lives and the humanity dies
Before their eyes and they keep living with the lies
All I see and all I can say is that
Justice has died

Give my voice a chance by sharing it

A Kashmiri; What life is like…

The world stands like a stage
And our valley a cage
I will not be tired to write on a page
The story of my rage

I heard
silence has a deep voice
And humans in this life have a choice
but I feel the growing helplessness
gripping my soul in a harsh sadness

someone in my dream told me
there are now flowers on that grave
their colour is different from the colours of this world
the bees visiting them vanish in the heaven
All this gave me a reason to smile
and whispered my ears that hope is still alive

But the image of the cage
where my home is a prison and family members as prisoners
has crushed me from inside
I do now walk with a face in the land of strangers
like a emotionless cold blooded man
who has forgotten to feel
what life is like

We became the Believers

A voice can be suppressed
But it never dies
It is like water that finds its way
And when time comes
It breaks what comes ahead

Come and try with your might
You can boast for some days
But our voice will find a way
All your ego will turn into hay
You are no one to fill the crevices
You are no one to write the destiny
You are a spec in the history
That will remain as a dot
At the end of our revolution

My words may reach a few hearts
But above all they reach in me
I wonder how you will fights with them
Because your tyranny makes you unable

Your clampdown made us a dreamer
We became what we never had been
You handed over us death, we took it as life
You handed over us despair, we took it as hope
You handed over us fight, we became the fighters
You handed over us struggle, we became the believers

Long live Humanity
Long live Palestine
Long live Kashmir
