Grave of Graves

A valley, holocaust of souls
Inferno of sore stories
Grave of graves! Grave of graves
With some inscribed, and other lay unidentified

Landlocked and barricaded ways
Where to go? No one knows
Now, It is just a Valley
Losing the unsung words in this deadly silence

Love wants to escape through the crevices in mountains
How those hearts could hold?
When the smoke in the streets burned the tissues
Our faces are now just characters victimized by pretension

I am a Kashmiri, I am Kashmir
Never ask me anything of my well-being
I don’t want my existence to be humiliated, because
When we suffered and you stood silent

Mother of Martyred Blood

It is true! That…
Every sight of my eyes kiss that valley
But Known to me is that, there are mothers of martyred sons
I just heard the story of one
My heart and soul began to cry
O mother, of my lost unknown friend and brother!
No written words could do justice to your heart
No pages of history will take your pain into account
Your injured soul has blood, oozing but unseen by blind eyes
As if the world has turned into a mere lie
I read the words of one mother, I shivered as they read

Your pain is blowing with the cold winds trapped in this valley
God will make them fall like a lightening on the wicked ones
Your tears will fall like stones over them
What they afflicted you with?
A merciless separation
Will render them devoid of mercy in this world
The earth and sky is crying by your side
But why this world still lay deaf and dumb?
Has the heart of people living in love of world died?
Has the beats gone too far to only remain to mimic the ugly songs?
You are the mother of Wamiq Farooq
Zahid Farooq, Inayath Khan, Osaib, Tufail Ahmad………..
You are the mother of the martyred blood
You are the mother of the tears of the Valley, Kashmir
And one of yours line read and I couldn’t stop crying

Revolution

Revolution says
Just a moment away
But you have to fight
For thousands of days

It is born in the hearts
Single voice, from where it starts
Sacrifice of days and blood
To turns slogans into flood

Some lives to see
Some dies before, with the hope
Revolution test the emotions
Revolution teaches patience

Pain and passion, love and hate
It gives life to the dead words
Martyrs and tears, beheld in souls
It destroys, it creates

Evil falls, good wins
It rules over the millions of hearts
Revolution takes the birth
Amongst the men of truth
The pages bear witness
Revolution creates greatness and greats

Have You Left?

Would we be heard?
No, is the answer
Humanity is abused everyday
Still humans are helpless
Among all the abuses from east to west
Who will listen to Kashmir?
May be, they open the pages of history
But, who is there to unfold our emotions?
Who will listen to syria?
Who will listen to palestine?
Who will listen to all war torn lands?
Will they remain a place and date on pages
And for ages to come
Why this war? Why this unrest?
Why can’t we humans uphold humanity?
Why this inequality? Why this disparity?
Why I see blood flowing in my valley?
Why I see tears in the eyes of mothers?
Why I see half widows, waiting and searching?
But, no one answers me
Are these the forgotten questions?
Or are we in the acceptance for it to be?
Where is voice of counciousness?
Where is passion for justice?
Where is the revolution in us?
Where is the revolt against tyranny?
Where is the dream of peace?
Answer me!
If you can’t
You have left humanity

Soldiers of Revolution

Known to them was that revolution has sharp thorns
Being audacious, carried it on their shoulders
Sacrificial blood would also had passed by their eyes
But hope of emerging flower after revolution kept them alive

Their nights in battle fields never let them to sleep
With a dream of revolution in their luminous eyes
Forgetful of their pain, kept surviving with deep motivation
Having the passion, to turn tears into pearls

Every drop of their blood has made the land fertile
For those to come, building walls of legacy on them
Sacrifice was something they understood with true meaning
Kept doing all their lives for protecting those buds to come

Smelling a scent of their blood, filled with spiritual passion
Breaking the shackles that kept my heart tied so long
Their utmost struggle is the drive for our struggle
God has kept rising the tyrants only for their great falls

KASHMIR WILL REMAIN OURS

You may have conquered our lands
But not the skies
we have learned to fly
Because we see falcons in the dreams

You could cut our tongues
But we will write with our blood
Our morale is bigger than your tyranny
You kill, and we are proud to die

See our eyes, you will see your fall
When we see yours, we see our rise
We both will remain the character in the book of Kashmir
Alas! You will be read as the antonym of humanity

The apple orchads will remain ours
The Dal and Wular lake will remain ours
The struggle will remain ours
Our Kashmir will remain ours

I Wish to Revisit…#Kashmir

I wish that one day
Sitting in the garden, looking at the ripened apples
I could also revisit these days
In the left memories
A tale inside worth to tell
How we lived in the Caged Kashmir?
When homes were made prisons
and the freedom of children was snatched
We all stood looking at each other’s faces
Witnessing the pain, grief, and anguish
In a moment of time
All became the same
Victims of destroyed identify
A prison worth seeing
The stories worth listening
All had a painful ending
Loss and loss only
The apple season became seasonless
As they appeared pale to the red-blooded eyes
Devoid of sleep
Devoid of dreams
Filled with unseen tears
O God, that fear!
What would happen in the days to come?
Would our existence cease to exist?
What would happen to our race?
What would happen to our homes and land?
Questions left for the destiny to answer
And we were left waiting for the freedom
Our rights became sole of the shoes
Humanity became the graveyard for deads
But we rose, we fought
We cried, we suffered
We lived, we died
We struggled all those days
In hope of rays of sunshine
Hope to prove that truths live the ages
Lies die with its creators

I wish that one day
Sitting in the garden, looking at the ripened apples
I could also revisit these days

Sleepless #Kashmir

O, sleep!
come and fall in love with the eyes
the aching heart
don’t allow them to run away
in the dream

I am complaining to this night
why are you bringing back my valley before my eyes?
it is lacerating my existence within
when I listen the voices of that prison
where tortured souls lie
where the sons die
and where my home lies

O, sleep!
tell this night to spare me
tomorrow, I have to again struggle against the same memories
let me go to visit my dream
to collect the tears
from the valley of silence
deep in me

No Justice For Her

O wailing mother of my valley
There is no court of justice for you in the world
Their laws have felt short for your sufferings
Their constitutions are void for your emotions
Our Kashmir is left silent in the voice for justice

Let them! Let them!
Let them walk away
with the blood of you womb on their hands
Let them live these days, deaf and blind
Our silence will be the loudest voice
They lit our blood
Our blood will burn down their institutions
They blood bathed our streets
It put a blot on their image

I know,
Your heart burns everyday in remembering what you lost
No medicine on this planet can heal your wounds
Those tyrants have enshrouded the wrath of Allah
They have earned the Curse of Kashmir upon them

Kashmir is Alive in us

Caged are we
In the light of day and the gloom of night
The barriers have blocked our sight
How is the world and where is the world?
Is the thing lost in us
Our helplessness also returned unheard
And Kashmir continued to be a caged word

Snow also broke our skeltons and
announced the coming of deadly winter
Apples grieved over their rottenness
And our eyes witnessed this brokenness
Justice has been imprisoned to let the tyranny roam
With the peace in the mouth and blood on the hands

My ears hear
What is there left to live?
My councious tells
the blood soacked in the soil
For which mothers have shed their tears
On which stands this struggle
For the world the Kashmir may be dead
But Kashmir is alive in us
