IN YOUR DREAMS

IN YOUR DREAMS

You are like the melody of the river
Playing in the silence of my valley
I Walk along the side in the day
to see the reflection of your mysteries
And at night I sleep listening what you sing
Along with the swirling winds
When I stand besides you
You sprinkle the water droplets as you strike
The stones
When I go deep in the forest
You keep calling me with beautiful names
And when I come back you have a new song to sing
Sun sets in the west
Is the best
Moment of the day
As you dazzle in the golden light
I just can’t lift my eyes of you
As you fill the air with silent breeze
Touncing my face and my lips
I take a step to say something back
But the sun takes its light back
Speechless I stand as those moments get vanish
I return back in wait for the other day
You againg start singing the sleeping songs
And I sleep in your dreams

SURVIVING DEAD

SURVIVING DEAD

Shooting all the birds except one in the sky
Even that too will forget to fly
Sun will be lost in its eyes
Wings remaining a blanket
Saving it from the frosty winter
Dust of ground it’s home
Crawling of others there seems sinister
All the freedom in the heavens
Collapsing in nearby soil grains
Stars now too far
The world now a place with few things around
Sadness prevailing in its hearts
No will to see the horizons
Discouragement reflecting in its eyes
Discontent in the heart
Separation unbearable
From the ones whom it used to fly with
It also has a story to tell
After surviving
She flew miles in the sky
To find one of kind
Somewhere somehow
Searched every forest
Scaled every mountain
Only death prevailed
Where ever it passed by
Blood ridden feathers
Destroyed nests
Hanging on the branches
It gave up her flight
Fell to the ground
And survived till now
Because the killers finding it in the sky
Had been unknown of its address
Which is now the dirt of the earth
But they killed it without shooting
What it remains
Is a surviving dead

LOST FRIEND

LOST FRIEND

O my friend
In the grave
Do my tears reach your way
Conveying my words
Across the barrier
Of soil layer
I long to see your face
To play with you
While you run and I chase
But you ran too far from me
And too soon disappeared in the heaven
Leaving me alone in the world
With your memories and says

I remember our road to school
Making it late to reach back home
I thought no one could take you away
Those bullets
pierced not even your skin
But our friendship too
And separated our ways
You as a martyr and me as a living dead

These tyrants may be enjoying, laughing and dancing
But they don’t know
Your blood will be their nightmare
When I saw your face
Before they took you to the resting place
All those years that we spend
Just ended on those lips
Though they were lifeless
But they were telling me
Our tales of friendship

You gave your life to this struggle
Giving life to our dead hearts
You had in you a priceless thing
The blood of the revolution
I believe the day will come
The day of resurrection
On that day no one could separate us
Because death will be also dead
